Detailed Description

The West Coast of Vancouver Island is known for its natural beauty, pristine coastline, abundance of wildlife and scarcely populated surf spots North of Estevan Point.

Join the crew as we hunt down deserted surf spots. The challenging water and exposure of the West Coast is easily matched with our 24ft ridged hull Bombard Explorer powered with twin 115 hp engines. We will get you to the breaks that are working every day!

You will spend your days in early morning and afternoon surf sessions, and nights relaxing by a beach fire enjoying fresh local seafood, along with Vancouver Island craft brewed beer!

Nootka Island, our base camp, is packed with interesting ways to spend your downtime between surfing, such as whale watching, bear watching, crabbing, fishing, exploring beaches teaming with intertidal life, and hiking to nearby waterfalls.

Our camps are set up clean, dry and comfy. All your meals, snacks, and beer/wine with dinner is provided.

You will need:

sleeping bag

thermal rest

wet suit (rentals can be provided)

booties (rentals can be provided)

surf board (max 2)

*All other camping equipment is provided for you*
